Red Hand Day - Weltweite Aktivitäten

We demand stronger action by international leaders to end the use of child soldiers

The children made red handprints on a sheet of paper, and added personal messages

69 children participated in observing the red hand day from three villages of Barwani district to demand stronger action by international leaders to end the use of child soldiers.

Bericht

Children organized events in villages to highlight the continued use of child soldiers. They made red handprints on a sheet of paper, and added a personal message about one’s desire to end the use of child soldiers. The children themselves involved others in their community in the programme by telling them about the importance of Red Hand Day and organised marches and public awareness programs at community, and presentations of red hands.
