Red Hand Day - Weltweite Aktivitäten

Please stop the use of child soldiers. They don't have a choice - YOU do!

Year 8 students at Willingdon Community School in Eastbourne completed 177 red hands as part of their Citizenship day

Year 8 students had a day off from normal lessons in order to learn about the plight of child soldiers and take part in the Red Hand Day campaign

On 10th February 2012, year 8 students at Willingdon Community School spent a day completing a number of workshops around the theme of child soldiers. They learnt wher, why and how children are used. At the end of the day they were asked to complete a red hand for submission to the UN. Students found the day invaluable and made comments such as ""it is important to do this as it helps us not to take our lives for granted"" and""days like this make us realise that we can act to make a difference""
