Red Hand Day - Weltweite Aktivitäten

Why are we using children as weapons? No matter what your answer is, it is not worth the death of a child.

The prints symbolize the blood on childrens hands. Knowing this, students at TCHS come out to support.

TCHS has participated in this protest for the last two years, and we plan to continue to join the fight.

This campaign has been an annual event we do at our school. We provided paper and paint, and encourage students and staff to join the protest by stamping a red hand print. This year, there was a lack of advertisement due to disagreeing school schedules, so we only received about 100 hand prints. Nevertheless, we thought it was important to spread awareness to the students of the school and add to the growing number of people against the use of child soldiers. Every hand print counts.
